Ännu en från arkivet eftersom jag bara har MNY 449 på naglarna! Den här manikyren ordnade min kompis Linda till mig när hon först köpte sina Konad Stamping-produkter för ett tag sedan.

In english: Yet another one from the archives because I'm wearing MNY 449! I asked my friend for this manicure when she had just bought her Konad Stamping-kit a while back.

Acrylic Paint

Eftersom jag har lite dåligt med tid just nu får ni ett par bilder ur arkivet. Det här är bara ett barnsligt test med vattenlöslig akrylfärg istället för lack. Fördelen är att om du målar fel är det bara att torka av med lite vatten, förutsatt att grundfärgen torkat helt!

In english: Since my time is running out, you get a couple of pictures from the archives. This is just a childish test with water-soluable acrylic paint. The possibility to whipe it off with water is a good advantage, provided the basecolor is completely dry!

Opposite friends

Eftersom jag och min kompis var på bio igår kväll och såg Harry Potter och Dödsrelikerna del 1 ville jag ha naglar som matchade. Jag kom på en design fom funkade, men hade inte rätt färger. Dessutom sabbade jag det flera gånger om! Det slutade med detta istället... På bilderna syns att jag hade bråttom och att mitt överlack är helt kass!

In english: Since me and my friend went to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 yesterday night, I wanted to have a mani that matched. I came up with a nice design, but did not have the colors to match. Also, I messed it up time and time again! I ended up with this instead.... As you can se in the pictures, I was in a hurry and have a really crappy topcoat!

Winter snow

Den här designen kom till när jag testade olika designer till julmarknaden på första advent. Ni som bor här i Sverige vet vad som händer, men för er andra är första advent en tid när man sätter upp fina ljusstakar och julgardiner i fönstren och låter julkänsla komma fram!  Jag har också lovat min kompis att visa en videosnutt. Den är inte så bra, dels för att jag inte är van med kameran, men också för att solljuset skymdes av dis. Här är den iaf och man kan se glittret...

In english: This design is a result of me trying out designs for a market on the fourth sunday before Christmas Day. Here in Sweden it comes with celebrations and we put up special lights & christmas curtains and make our homes a bit more cosy and cristmaslike. Also I promised my friend that I put up a video. It not that great, due to me not being used to the camera and also the lack of direct sunlight! It's there anyway and you can see the sparkles....

MNY 657

Den andra från MNY, nummer 657. Ett blågrön folielack som även det behöver två lager. Det var riktigt svårt att fånga det gröna skimret i det här lacket, det ser mest blått ut på bilderna. Hur som... det är en riktigt snygg färg!

In english: The other one from MNY, number 657. A blue-green foil that also takes two coats. It was really hard to catch the greenish shimmer in this polish, it look more blue in the pictures.... anyways, it really pretty!

Kom just på att ni kanske tror jag är tokig! Här kommer jag, slänger upp en blogg om naglar och nagellack och skriver inlägg varannan dag.... Målar jag naglarna varannan dag?

Nej, jag målar inte naglarna varannan dag men när jag målar naglarna försöker jag ta kort både på det enfärgade lacket och på den färdiga designen. På det viset får jag minst ett inlägg extra. Har jag inget nytt att komma med får ni se något från arkivet. Det är så jag kan få detta att snurra!

In english: I just realized that you might think I'm crazy! Here I come, putting up a blog about nailpolish and posting every other day... Do I paint my nails every other day?

No, I do not paint my nails every other day but when I paint my nails I try to take pictures of both swatches and the design. That way it gives me at least one post extra. If I don't have anything to post I'll give you a design from the archives. That's how I can keep this up!

Härlig färg!! Valde ett ljust beige lack för att kunna ha något när jag jobbar. Detta är ett folielack och det behös minst 2 lager för att bli bra. En skimrande champagnefärg blir resultatet!

In english: Lovely color! I chose a light beige color because I wanted to be able to wear it when I go to work. This is a foilpolish and you need 2 coats for it to be OK. A shimmering champagne color is the result!

MNY - 449 and 657

Maybellines nya "yngre" märke har en hel del härliga färger att erbjuda!

Dessa två köpte jag när jag var på kurs i måndags, eftersom de ännu inte kommit hit.Jag valde ett blått och ett beige skimrande lack.

In english: This is the "younger" Maybelline and they have quite a bit of colors to offer.

I bought these when I went out of town because it has not made it here yet. I chose a blue and a beige shimmering polish.

Happy birthday, mom!

När mamma fyllde år för ett tag sen hade jag ingen aning om vad jag skulle ge henne. Min ekonomi är för närvarande i botten, så någon köpt present var det inte tal om. Det blev till slut ett hemgjort presentkort innehållande två manikyrer hemma hos henne.

Hon blev överlycklig och vill genast att vi skulle fixa naglarna till helgen. Sagt och gjort, igår ägnade vi kvällen till handbad och manikyr... Färgen är rosa och lila med en hint av rött i rätt ljus, den passade perfect och hon matchar med scarf och läppstift!

In english: For my mom's birthday I had no idea as to what to give her. My economy is for now at rock bottom and a bought gift was not an option. Finally, I made a homemade giftcard with two manicures at her place.

She was over the moon for this and wanted me to fix her nails for the weekend. So, yesterday we spent the evening with a handbath and manicure... The color is pink and purple with a hint of red in the right light, it fits perfectly and she matches it with a scarf and lipstick!

Första försöket med Konad på hela nageln. Ville visa denna design trots att den inte är perfekt! Det tar några försök innan du har fått in snitsen, men när man väl lärt sig blir det riktigt snyggt. Ser verkligen fram emot att fortsätta leka med Konad!

In english: First try with full nail Konad. I wanted to show this design even though it's not perfect! It takes a few times before you get the hang of it, but once you've learned it get really nice. I'm very excited to continue playing with Konad!

Leafy Autumn

Äntligen får jag presentera ett av Depends lack från höstkollektionen! Ett härligt höstgrått lack med lite metallic-känsla över sig. När jag tittade runt bland de bloggar jag följer hittade jag inspirationen till den här designen hos painted Lady Fingers.

In english: Finally I get to present one of Depends polished from the autumncollection! A lovely autumngrey polish with a metallicfeel over it.When I was browsing through the blogs I follow I found the inspiration for this at painted Lady Fingers.

Ok, I have for a long time wanted to show you pictures of my stuff but have not been able to until now. It's not much, but enough to work with! Please ask if there anything you're wondering about.

My polishes stands in the lid from another box that fits perfectly. The round bottles in the bottom right corner is some acrylic paint that I'm experimenting with.

Älskar den här färgen! Den kommer från Depends sommarkollektion 2010. Bilden ger inte riktigt rättvisa åt färgen, det är mer metallic i den.

In english: I love this color! I comes from Depends summercolecction 2010. The picture doesn't give the color justice, it's more metallic.

Nu är det äntligen läge att visa vad jag klickade hem i förra veckan - Konad, stämplar för nagellack. På bilderna ser ni motivplattor, stämpel och skrapa, hållare till plattorna samt speciellt lack.

Makeup Factory 288 - Pearl

Använde detta lack som bas till en fin design som snart kommer upp här på bloggen. Gav 10 kr för det på rea för längesen, men hur bra som helst. Bra konsistens och täcker helt OK. Jag klarade mig på ett lager, men om man ska vara noga är det nog bra med två.  En fin kopparfärg dessutom!

In english: I used this polish for a design that I will show you soon. I payed about 1 euro for this bottle when it was for sale a while back. Even though i didn't cost me much it is very good. A nice consisency and the coverage is OK. I manage with only one coat, but if you want på be picky, use two. Also, a nice coppercolor!
